Our timing could not be more perfect for this cruise as we will experience warm days around the 28-30deg and kind spring seas. Highlights of this cruise include visiting the locations where Mutiny on the Bounty took place in 1789. You’ll travel past Nomuka Island where Blight visited the day before the Mutiny occurs. You will also cruise past Tofua Island where Bligh and his loyalists landed. Plus Norfolk Is were the mutineers ended up.

DAY 1 – 16th Oct, Arrive Sydney

Arriving in Sydney today from your home port we transfer to our accommodation for the evening. Once freshened up, please arrive at the in house restaurant  and meet the other guests and Host for your welcome dinner at 6pm Return Flights Ex, BNE, MEL, ADL Included

DAY 2 – Depart Pacific Explorer

This morning following breakfast, we depart to meet the Pacific Explorer for our wonderful  adventure cruise to the Mutiny on the Bounty

 

DAY 3 & 4 – Cruising to the Pacific

Enjoy all the ship has to offer with an endless array of exciting activities, bars, shows and of course the excellent variety of dinning options.

 

DAY 5 – Norfolk Island

With a sub-tropical climate tempered by the surrounding sea, you will find a host of things to do on Norfolk, including visiting elegant convict-built Georgian buildings, visit Emily Bay and Captain Cook’s Monument with a beautiful lookout overlooking the very small beach where Cook is believed to have landed. You will surely be impressed by Norfolk, where they speak their own special language and welcome you in their own unique way.

 

DAY 6 & 7 – Cruising the Pacific

Enjoy all the ship has to offer with an endless array of exciting activities, bars, shows and of  course the excellent variety of dinning options.

 

DAY 8 – Nuku’alofa, Tonga

Nuku’alofa is the capital of Tonga. Enjoy shore tours that will take you to the exotic beaches in the nearby islets where you can swim and relax, or, get cultural and take time off to get to know the Tongan people, their dances, cooking, tapa making, weaving and wood carving at the National Centre.

 

DAY 9 – Vava’u, Tonga

Neiafu, the tiny capital on Vava’u, is perched above the Port of Refuge Harbour, a delightful natural harbour regarded by many as one of the most beautiful in the world. With its year-round tropical climate, being remote and unspoiled, the result is crystal clear waters. You are sure to enjoy this special ‘piece of paradise’

 

DAY 10 – Mutiny on the Bounty

Scenic Cruising today and stoping at the location of the infamous  scene of the mutiny. A guest lecturer will bring history to life, telling the story of this famous seafaring saga. You’ll travel past Nomuka Island where Blight visited the day before the Mutiny occurs. You will also cruise past Tofua Island where Bligh and his loyalists landed.

 

DAY 11 – Dravuni Island, Fiji

Dravuni Island is known for its glorious, pristine beaches and fine weather. Energetic visitors can stretch their legs on a trek up grassy slopes to Dravuni’s highest peak, from which there is a fantastic view of the surrounding islands. Grab a snorkel and head for the water, or simply find a stretch of unoccupied beach and bask. Meet the friendly people, who also perform local dances.

 

DAY 12 – Suva, Fiji

Suva is a beautiful tropical city full of colour and diverse cultures. Hire a taxi for the day or take the many onshore tours and enjoy its tall modern buildings which are beautifully balanced by rich traditional colonial architecture.

 

DAY 13 – Port Denarau, Nadi, Fiji

Nadi is a great place to experience and offers places of interest including Sri Siva Subramaniva Temple, the largest Hindu temple in the southern hemisphere, with a range of sacred statues of Indian influence. Visit the Waqadra Botanical Gardens, and the Sleeping Giant Gardens.

 

DAY 14 – Cruising the Pacific

Enjoy all the ship has to offer with an endless array of exciting activities, bars, shows and of course the excellent variety of dinning options.

 

DAY 15 – Noumea, New Caledonia

Noumea is known as the ‘Paris of the Pacific’. The city’s main square, Place des Cocotiers, is flanked by a variety of cafes and restaurants. And to drink? Try the kava while you’re in town – it’s a memory you’ll not quickly forget.

 

DAY 16 & 17 – Cruising the Pacific

DAY 18 – 2nd November, Arrive Sydney

Arriving back in Sydney this morning, we have the sad task of saying good by to the Pacific Explorer. We then transfer to the airport  with time to reflect on this amazing journey to the Pacific.   Return Flights Ex, BNE, MEL, ADL Included

Tour is subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances. A $1500 non refundable deposit is due upon booking with the remainder payable 90 days prior to departure at which time, the full payment is also non refundable. We highly recommend taking Travel Insurance.
