If you are arriving today under your own arrangements, please arrive in the afternoon and make your way to the Cairns Queenslander Hotel. Check in will be pre-arranged for you and we ask that you meet the Tour Host for dinner this evening in our hotel at 6pm.

Skyrail,  Kuranda  & Cairns Botanical Gardens

Following breakfast we will travel by Skyrail up the mountain range to the Kuranda Village. You will have time to wander through the markets and taste the local cuisine before we meet our coach and travel back to Cairns and call in to the Botanical Gardens with time to walk through the lush Gardens, renowned for having one of the best exhibitions in Australia of tropical plants. We will then return to our hotel with time to relax before dinner

Mossman Gorge,  Daintree River Cruise & Port Douglas

Breakfast then depart Northwards for the drive along the Coral Coast Road which has been referred to as Queenslands equivalent to the Great Ocean Rd, with beautiful views of the Coral Sea and coastline. Arriving in Mossman Gorge for our tour of this magnificent ancient gorge. Then onto the Daintree River for our boat cruise, seeing crocodiles and other wildlife in their natural habitat.  We will then depart for Iconic Port Douglas, with time to  wander around the township and purchase lunch if you wish before we return in time for dinner this evening.

Reef Casino Lunch,  Merry Xmas, HO HO HO

The big day has arrived !!!!  This morning enjoy a relaxing breakfast with a build up to the Main Event.  We will be transferred late morning to the Reef Hotel Casino for a wonderful Christmas Lunch with all the special trimmings to ensure you have a memorable day. When we have had our fill our host will call us all to board the coach and make our way back to the Hotel to recover and relax this late afternoon before meeting for  a light dinner this evening.

Famous Dundees Restaurant Lunch & Cairns Harbor Cruise

Breakfast, enjoy a relaxing morning followed by lunch at the famous Dundess Restaurant. We then depart for an enjoyable Harbor Cruise along Trinity Inlet.  Upon return you will have optional free time to wander through Cairns City, walk along the Esplanade and Marine foreshore precinct at The Pier, or pop into the Reef Casino for a quick flutter if you wish. The coach will return to the hotel after the cruise if you wish not to take optional time in Cairns City. Dinner tonight at our Hotel

Today the Spirit of Queensland Train will finish the journey arriving into Brisbane at 9am.
