Departing from your home port this morning, you will arrive in Sydney and then make our way  to meet the Indian Pacific and embark on an epic transcontinental journey across Australia to Perth.

Broken Hill, a classic mining town where the streets are wide and there is a pub on every corner. On your Off Train Excursion we visit the Pro Hart Gallery and many other attractions. Boarding again, we make our way arriving in Adelaide were we explore by coach, boutique wineries or Hanhdorf Village.

Overnight we will have made our way into Western Australia. Wake up and marvel at the raw beauty of the Nullarbor. We then will be treated to a wonderful Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings. Who else will be able to say, I had Christmas Lunch crossing the Nullarbor?

Your sense of wonder will be well and truly ignited when it comes time to set foot at Rawlinna this evening. Under brilliant desert stars, enjoy an evening  stop to partake in a traditional Outback dinner under the wide Nullarbor skies while enjoying a chilled beverage and canapés.

This morning the Avon Valley comes into view The mild skies and cool green vales of this picturesque part of the world will truly delight. Arriving into Perth after lunch, we will be met by our coach and transferred to our accommodation with time to freshen up for dinner this evening.

We enjoy a relaxing cruise on the Swan River with interesting commentary of the sights and history en route  to Fremantle.  We will then take part in a fascinating tour of this port city learning of it’s colorful history including a visit to the notorious Fremantle Prison and other historical sites. Returning on our cruise back to Perth while enjoying a wonder Buffet Lunch.

Following breakfast, we then depart for the Swan Valley Region and visit the odd winery or 2 and also a working chocolate factory were you can sample some tasty treats.

Following breakfast we will depart for the Perth Mint.  We will enjoy a guided tour of this grand heritage building learning of the allure of gold that was established as a branch of Britain’s Royal Mint in 1899. We then  make our way to the airport and depart for our journey home after one of the most fascinating rail journeys and the most unique Christmas experience in the world.  (B)
