THE acclaimed international spectacular, the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, will return to Sydney at ANZ Stadium, Sydney Olympic Park in October 2019.

The Sydney show, which is set against the backdrop of a full-size replica of Edinburgh Castle, will blend a thrilling mix of music, ceremony, military tradition, theater and dance from the world’s best-massed pipes and drums. It will feature traditional Scottish favorites including pipers, fiddlers, highland dancers and precision drill teams, together with representatives from around the globe, as well as members of the Australian Defence Forces.

Combing the Tattoo with some must see destinations around the greater Sydney Region, this is going to be Fantastic Tour !!!!

Itinerary

Depart on your flight to Sydney this morning and on arrival we make our way to Everglades Gardens which is one of Australia’s foremost heritage gardens and homesteads. This treasure from the 1930s sits in twelve and a half acres of European- style gardens and native bush with breathtaking views over the Jamison Valley. Then making our way to check into our accommodation for the next 2 nights.

Today after breakfast we will head off for our Katoomba Discovery. First calling into Scenic World which is home to the Iconic Cableway and Railway. The 545 metre Cableway journey gently descends into the Jamison Valley and also returns visitors to the top of the escarpment. The Cableway’s fully enclosed cabin provides a unique vantage point for viewing the Three Sisters, Orphan Rock, Mt Solitary and Katoomba Falls. The Railway experience descends 310 metres through a cliff-side tunnel, emerging into ancient rainforest at the Jamison Valley floor. We then make our way to the near by town of Leura. A stroll through Leura Mall is a truly memorable experience as you browse through a selection of gorgeous unique retail outlets. Here you will have time to wander the historic main street to see all that this beautiful town has to offer. Lunch today is at your own arrangements and there is plenty to chose from as you make your away around the village. We will then depart and make our way to Princess Rock Lookout which overlooks the Wentworth Falls.

The award-winning Jenolan Caves are the worlds oldest caves, and are considered Australia’s most outstanding. Friendly guides will show you through the spectacular caves, which are suitable for low to medium fitness levels. After our tour and lunch at the Cafe’ we make our way to Sydney and check into to our accommodation with time to freshen up for dinner this evening this evening.

Today we discover the Historical Side of Sydney including the Old Jail and many other attractions. Then the main event The Edinburgh Military Tattoo. Enjoy Gold Class Seating for this amazing event. See your evening burst into life with a colourful blend of Scottish pipe and drum bands and performers from across the world. The Tattoo will bring together 1,200 performers from around the world to play at ANZ Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park, including military members from the Australian Defence Force. It’s the first time the Tattoo has been in Sydney since 2010 and will include highland dancers, an array of marching bands, fireworks and a full-size replica of Edinburgh Castle.
