We then continue to the picturesque alpine town of Jindabyne, overlooking the sparkling waters of Lake Jindabyne. Sample handcrafted schnapps made from local fruits before spending time exploring charming Jindabyne prior to our return to Canberra.

In the early hours of 25 April 1915, the ANZACs landed on the shores of Gallipoli, displaying extraordinary courage, resilience and mateship in the face of overwhelming adversity. Their legacy continues to shape the spirit of our nation, and today we pause to honour not only those who served at Gallipoli, but all Australian and New Zealand servicemen and women who have served, sacrificed and continue to defend our freedoms.
Before dawn, we make our way to the Australian War Memorial to join thousands of Australians at the moving ANZAC Day Dawn Service. As the first light breaks over the nation’s capital, experience the haunting notes of the Last Post, the silence of reflection, and the heartfelt tributes that make this one of Australia’s most profound commemorative events. Standing together in this sacred place is an experience that will remain with you long after the tour has ended.
Following the Dawn Service, we return to the hotel for breakfast before heading back to the War Memorial precinct and ANZAC Parade for the National Commemorative Ceremony and the Veterans’ March. Witness serving personnel, veterans and their families proudly march through the heart of Canberra as Australians line the streets in gratitude and remembrance.
Throughout the day, you’ll have time to wander along ANZAC Parade, home to a series of striking national memorials dedicated to the men and women who have served in conflicts, peacekeeping operations and humanitarian missions around the world.
